It was hard to side with either party during the case, since I felt both lawyers were strong, likable characters that offered a huge deal to the plot - as did their side kicks.

They are both on trial for murder; Eddie is working for Sofia, and sets to work to prove her innocence. How very convenient that the ex mayor of NYC is killed a few days before the meeting with his lawyer to change his will. I say 'most' as there are also some chapters which are written from the killer's view, however we are unaware as to which sister this is until the very end.
