Please note, to produce the best and most vibrant results we recommend using Dylon Pre Dye to remove colour from fabric so that it is suitable for dyeing to a lighter colour. Dylon Dyes are not suitable for use with polyester, nylon and synthetic fabrics. Tip away the dye solution and rinse the fabric in cold water. To protect the pattern do not undo any knots, twists, folds etc., until the water runs clear. I've dyed merino a few times with Dylon hand dye. They're more of a faff than machine dyes cos you can't walk away and leave them. Some have turned out really well but as you say, sometimes the stitching doesn't dye, leaving that two tone effect. I doubt whether Zara would use wool stitching so that's quite likely to happen.
