This is your main trading/poke tool. Try to keep the projectile in the air for at least one second as it does bonus damage and slows the enemy. To do this, curve it slightly to the side before targeting the enemy to increase flight time. This is especially useful if you are already in close proximity to the opponent. If they are extremely close, curve it behind you first, then target the enemy. If you are struggling against a poke heavy bot lane, put more points into Zoomies instead of Prowling Projectile for the extra sustain.

Look to all-in once Kai'Sa is low enough. She doesn't have any form of mobility or defensive capabilities other than the bonus movement speed from Supercharge.
