About this deal

His muscles bunched beneath my touch. “What,” he said in a tight, controlled voice. “Are you doing?”

Ava Chen, a twenty-two-year-old, is happily attending university with her three best friends while pursuing photography on the side. We have a beautiful Asian heroine and a hero of Ukrainian descent, which we just love to see. I also really appreciated all the small details that the author included to help us learn more about the Chinese culture; that aspect was honestly well done and seamlessly integrated in the story. I adored Ava, she had the hugest heart ever, lots of sass and I loved that she had no problem putting others in their place. She found so much happiness in life while at college, even though she struggled with her past. And her relationship with her brother, Josh, was so heartwarming. But with Josh going away, he asked his best friend Alex to step in and watch his baby sister. So when Alex moved in next door, I knew that was a recipe for disaster or would be the most fabulous thing ever. Because while Alex attended their family holiday functions, and had been around Ava for years, they didn’t always mesh in the most fabulous of ways lol. I could imagine myself lifting that shirt, tugging her bra aside with my teeth, and closing my mouth around those sweet, hardened peaks— Alex, our main character. CEO, billionaire, with an IQ of 190, hates beer, he is not scared of anything, not even bears. Won't kiss during sex, because he hates intimacy. He hates birthdays because everyone has one. He thinks everyone wants him for his magnificent shlong. He has been controlling his family's company since he was 14, because he was always knew he would be CEO one day and his uncle would listen to his 14 YEAR OLD DEMANDS. He also slut shames his own friends.Parents should first read any movie, series, book, or game about their parenting guide, then they can find out whether it is suitable for their children. Sexual Content Moving on, I have to say that I didn’t like the whole side plot with Rhys’ father. It reminded me a lot of the sideplot with Ava’s father in the first book (which I also did not like). This sort of thing feels cheesy and cliché in my opinion. Can we stop having these regular guys turn out to be offsprings of important people? I seriously don’t get the obsession with this trope, I think it’s overused. And even if Rhys didn’t do anything about it, I still didn’t like the fact that it was present in the book at all. It reminded me of those barbie movies where the regular maid finds out that she’s the daughter of a king which just fixes everything cause now that she’s noble, she’s finally seen as worthy of marrying the prince that she’s loved all along. Like, what? Just writing this paragraph felt cringey to be honest. Also, I’m not even going to get into the whole Andreas thing to be honest cause it was as unbelievable and ridiculous as the father thing. Why can’t we just have the made family trope in this instance? Why didn’t the author expand on Rhys’ relationship with Christian and make them act like real brothers? I honestly think that I would have enjoyed that much more than the whole “I have a secret family” thing. Oh well… I guess to each their own right? The Twisted Series is about the four school friends Ava, Bridget, Jules, and Stella. We follow each of them through complications, intrigues, and changes and get to know the story of how they find the love of their life. ‘Twisted Love’ by Ana Huang Ava thinks Alex is an emotionless robot so Ava and her friends decide to put that theory to the test. This leads to them spending loads of time together but Ava is haunted by memories she can’t clearly remember and Alex has his own demons to fight. in twisted love you can feel how alex is falling for ava. meanwhile, in twisted games, I literally can't feel the love between bridget and rhys.

But next to being hilarious, I also loved the chemistry between Ava and Alex. It was easy to see that Ava really liked Alex from the start. She always sees the best in people. But Alex’s character was much harder to get to know. And I loved how his tough exterior slowly melted through Ava’s influence. I hated how much I wanted her, and I hated that she wasn’t smart enough to run away from me while she still had a chance.Thought let’s be honest, it was already too late.” the red in the flag that is alex volkov is from all my brain cells he has murdered, and the blood of the people he has actually murdered 😍Anyway.. besides the romance, I loved the sub-plot of politics and monarchy! It was amazingly involved into the plot and just shows how corrupt the system can be (most definitely not only in fiction). But Ana brought me out of that weird slump. Her writing style is smooth. After a couple of chapters, I was absorbed into the story, liking Ava for her sunshine like personality and intrigued by Alex and his mysterious past. The story is in dual POVs so we get to know both of them.
