Funnily enough, I personally think that today's version smells much more vintage than this one I just described.... That's why you can only have respect from this ancestor of Joop homme, how successful and fitting he has become. Alone for nostalgia reasons, the fragrance burned itself into my brain, until I finally bought a bottle of it. Already there it was the Coty variant, but the comparison to the vintage version I did not know until then. I was satisfied... until the bottle flew to the floor after infrequent wear and the contents spread all over it.... The bathroom smelled for days afterwards....Similarities to the Mugler fragrances especially the Urmugleristen A-Men and the la nuit de l homme l`intense are given, wanted or not, since this one comes from Coty and not Loréal. Version 2019: The fruity component and the cherry are still present, however, freshly applied you have the feeling it would be the vintage version after 5-6 hours... the floral accords are brought more to the fore here.... The magic of the former original is still guessable.... The durability and sillage were again reduced by some... the price-performance ratio! To the fragrance ansich: As often described, but it fits, the original with more heaviness, spice, light sweetness, less loud, more maturity, but still unmistakably Homme, performance loose 24 hours, sillage dangerous for the environment, so incredibly strong, one with which you can easily exaggerate. I like best the scent progression, at the end remains permanently for me extremely pleasant, light sweetness, but not too intrusive and heavy, masculine enough and just delicious without end, ladykiller high 10 and the next morning even better, you smell in any case still incredibly good and she will want to be very, very close to you.... ;-). The presence lingers for several hours, which is extreme for my skin. Even after a good 24h you can still smell him skin. It was good manners not to put on perfume before dinner, my family as I remember had no perfume on at all on a normal working day and suddenly I appeared and dominated the kitchen, the food and the mood of the other attendees.

Every other bottle after Joop was a fabric softener in terms of the sillage or intrusiveness of this pinky concoction. About 10 years ago, I also wore it in the summer. Nowadays there are definitv clearly better alternatives. Even if he is categorized in the diagram rather as an autumn / winter fragrance I would call him a year-round fragrance. There is something about it that puts you in a good mood. At least for me. With people who do not like the at all probably rather less. Only in hot and humid temperatures 0.0 suitable. Can work overdosed really bad.Sillage: potent, but also not the beast like his pink father (once was and also still is with smears). Nevertheless, I can now with direct comparison no longer give an assessment, because in my opinion it is no longer the same fragrance... Top motivated he slaps off his buddy, sits down on his fire chair and shoots off. His hair is smashing on his solarium-tanned skin. The cod fillets on the dining table, had to admit defeat by my Joop, the vegetables could no longer be eaten without the smell of Joop homme.

The fragrance opens with fresh citrusy top notes of orange blossom and bergamot as an enticing initial scent. Moving through to a spicy heart of cinnamon, warming through each individual note, before drying down to a lingering amber base. Hints of patchouli and tonka bean round off the fragrance to a sensual finish, bringing it to a bold conclusion. One thing up front, I would love to rate this fragrance if the difference between vintage (1st Lancaster version) and today's (mid-2020 batch) wasn't so severe.... Objectively for me, a perfect fragrance that I would definitely wear more often if this was unknown. He has that certain something. A very multi-faceted and well-coordinated fragrance with a pleasant sweetness. It goes down well and performs really well. Too good in many situations, which worsens with overdosing. However, the blame is not the fragrance, but the carriers which often seem very proletarian. Joop Homme Eau de Toilette has been the unique signature scent for unique men since 1989. A classic male fragrance loved by men and women alike that still stands out from the crowd. Version 2012: the fragrance is still very reminiscent of the Lancaster version, although the shelf life has already been reduced by quite a bit.For me, the Eau de Parfum of Joop! Homme is one of the most logical further developments that I have ever smelled. This combination belongs in the hall of fame or in some other unimportant list which the many expensive, in the design extremely strong and contemporary Rohrkrepierer in the fray. Why does it need niche fragrances with which one is embarrassed by too strong application with the one-sidedness of the ingredients, if one can make it here cheaply? It must be said that it definitely no longer stands out, as it is clearly more adapted to the times than the Eau de Toilette was at the time. Armani Stronger with you is actually a fragrance that I would expect in his circle of friends, even if it is then different with its original DNA. It is not unique and you will probably still perceive many similar fragrances, but Joop! Has here a logical successor to the Eau de Toilette's on the market.
