Science-Based Targets: The announcement follows Northern Trust’s successful milestone of completing fully automated transactions on the digital carbon credit platform it has developed with carbon removal project developers including Storegga, Go Balance and ReGen III and institutional buyers THG faced the challenge of developing and implementing a net-zero strategy while expanding and diversifying their business. THG had committed to submit emissions reductions targets to the SBTi for near-term and long-term net-zero targets.

Embarking on a comprehensive understanding of their emissions, Bidpath and MyCarbon conducted an audit across their four locations, considering Scope 1, 2, and 3 greenhouse gas emissions. This broad examination of their carbon footprint allowed Bidpath to gain a holistic understanding of their environmental impact, informing their strategy for achieving their sustainability goals. Whilst legislation is coming, it's a slow path, so we have decided to partner with the Carbon Accounting Alliance so we can self regulate, and ensure high quality greenhouse gas reporting. Northern Trust announces today plans for an industry-wide Voluntary Carbon Credit Ecosystem which would allow institutional investors to digitally access carbon credits from leading project developers. Summary: V ado, a reputable bathroom brassware manufacturer and parent company of Triton, embarked on an ambitious journey towards sustainability with MyCarbon x THG Eco. As a key player in the manufacturing industry, Vado recognised its responsibility to lead the way in mitigating environmental impact and shaping a greener future. This collaboration focused on developing a carbon calculator tool for Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions, showcasing their dedication to helping their business clients and users reduce their carbon footprints. In collaboration with MyCarbon x THG Eco, Vado undertook a comprehensive assessment of its greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, spanning Scope 1, Scope 2, and a portion of Scope 3 (business travel) emissions. This extensive audit provided a clear and accurate picture of Vado's carbon footprint, allowing for strategic planning to reduce and offset these emissions.
