It's more difficult to score goals than on the ps4 version of fifa18, which makes it feel less arcade-like (pro difficulty and up).

Really, my only complant is the lack of eight player multiplayer as I can't think of a single reason why it wouldn't be included, and it could have give the Switch version a distinct advantage over the competition, at least where local multiplayer is concerned. It's at 72% on Metacritic and would be even lower if it weren't for certain sites artificially inflating its score.If you only have a Switch it tells you what you get - If you also have a PS4 the review tells you what you will be missing out on.

At this very moment there's still only 3 reviews on Metacritic, none from any renowned sites besides NL. As Lazarescu explained at the time, EA looks at the Switch version as a “completely different FIFA experience on a completely different platform. Switch so far has nothing i would want, only xeno in the foreseeable future, hopefully all that will change further down the line, but not for now, for me anyways.The commentary is crisp and varied, the crowd noises are a treat and load times are reasonable (with the series’ ever-present skill games on offer to keep you busy while you wait, but we found you can jump into the game in seconds anyway). It's information worth having in there, IMO, as it's exactly the sort of stuff that many FIFA fans will be scouring the internet to find out. But when you hold FIFA 18 Switch - as a portable game - up to the likes of FIFA’s past PS Vita, 3DS and other mobile versions it sits comfortably at the very top as the best ever made. Modern console versions have become more refined of late, but running on a more traditional build means that some of the shooting and crossing mechanics may not feel the same.
