Description

The surface area of these 70mm objectives gives these binoculars much more light gathering ability than say your normal 42mm binocular, which is always a good thing. We are using the very latest Zygo MX software to provide a more detailed report compared to other standard reports. To make up for any variations of your vision in your left and right eyes and thus calibrate to your personal vision, most good binoculars will have a diopter adjustment.

Celestron SkyMaster 25×70 binoculars offer astronomy enthusiasts an exceptional viewing experience with their extraordinary magnification power and premium optics.I have a monopod too which I use for quick looks withthe binis, but the tripod is much better for longer more stable views of objects. Continue reading for an explanation of the individual values and you can also see a test report that was done on one of our RVO Horizon 60 OTAs. SkyMaster Pro binoculars are the ideal choice for amateur astronomers or anyone that observes at great distances. The SkyMaster 25x70s are fairly well-constructed and robust, though they are not made out of any exotic materials or waterproofed.

I would say though that their depth of field seemed good enough, with it never being an issue for me. which is fine during the day and in good light when that will pretty much match that of the size of the pupils in your eyes and so provide them with enough light so that you see a nice bright image. Comfortable grip and ergonomic design for extended observation sessions: The binoculars’ ergonomic design and comfortable grip have received positive feedback, as they allow users to enjoy prolonged observation sessions without discomfort or fatigue. As with their dimensions, if you compare them to a standard full-sized binocular, they are quite a lot heavier, but as you can see from the table above they are also quite a lot lighter than many other giant binoculars on the market, even ones like the excellent and very popular Fujinon Polaris that also has 70mm objectives. For me the the Orion Nebula appeared as a very faint grey blotch, but once again think it may be possible to see more on a better night.Ideal For: As I mentioned earlier under the strong points, the fact that they can be hand held for terrestrial use is fantastic. Get ready for a night of astroimaging with your mount faster than previously thought possible with All-Star Polar Alignment. At 25x magnification, the SkyMaster 25×70 binoculars allow you to discern Saturn’s rings and its largest moon, Titan; observe the phases of Venus, and, of course, reveal Jupiter’s moons and equatorial cloud belts. Afetr re-aquiring my Orion binocular mount, which I’d sold to my brother at around the same time I sold on the 15x70 binos, I got the new 25x70 Skymasters out last night for their first light under the stars on the Orion mount. At the forefront of a new era in amateur astronomy, the launch of Celestron Origin stands as a beacon, seamlessly intertwining stargazing and astrophotography into a singular, user-friendly experience.
