The descending scores in this review shouldn’t make you think that my opinion of Bunnahabhain is similarly declining. Prepare to be enveloped in a truly warming experience, where the harmonious blend of dried fruits, sherry notes, luscious toffee, and an array of spices takes centre stage.

Established in 1881, Bunnahabhain Distillery, located in Port Askaig on the Isle of Islay, is one of the many distilleries in the region. The voyage ends with dry notes that are interspersed with mixed spices fading magnificently int a light salt and sherry finale.
