after listening to the first two books by ant, I was really looking forward to this, however I hate to say I was slightly disappointed. It did seem he was settling some demons or attempting to justify some things he did or does, and was maybe at times looking more inward than outward looking for self justification. I feel he's said what he has to say and given out the tools to help those of us who need a kick up the bum to get going sometimes.

I've signed up for a personal trainer course off the back of this and would certainly recommend, albeit, with a slight pinch of salt for some of the more self-aggrandising moments!

There are moments where Ant Middleton is a little reckless, foolhardy such as attempting the Matterhorn in a snow storm and using that failed experience as a catalyst for an Everest challenge. I'm a fan of Ant Middleton, but I'm a fan of anyone who served in the special forces, it takes a lot for someone to be that driven and that selfless. Ant's honesty, his down to earth approach and his insane love of and dedication to self development is so inspiring. A conversational style which perhaps lacks the grit of his other books, Ant nonetheless delivers some powerful messages to inspire you to become a better version of yourself every day. This book shows the importance of positivity but would be nice for guidance on how to get there or achieve it yourself. The weird paragraphs from his wife were the cherry on top of the cake - they felt so awkward and cringe worthy. Instead I realised that negative things are going to happen but it’s not about ignoring them it’s about choosing your attitude towards it.
