For something that could’ve been traumatic and depressing this book lifted me up and gave me hope and encouragement. A partridge in a pear tree, five gold rings, eight maids a-milking and ALL THE REST burst from the page in beautiful arrangements, with gold foil, acetate, and of course, plenty of sparkle. Foodies will love some of the food and descriptions mentioned, especially since Finn lives above and runs his own Deli and has a wonderful array of local produce for sale. All in all, this is a delightful and entertaining Christmas themed book that left me with a warm feeling.
