Just went through all the online recommendations to get my headphones working again... been trying to figure this out for months. Headphones aren't recognized, adapter not working either. Have tried multiple headphones of both types - nothing working. Put your android phone in a small bag plastic/polythene with rice and seal/tie it and keep it for an one day or two day after that it will be dry. Chinese brand Huawei has succeeded in beating out the big names when it comes to phone cameras. The quad-camera set-up of the Huawei P30 Pro is one of the best -- if not the best -- on the market. The only rival in this area is the Google Pixel 3, and the Huawei is better in many ways. Though cameras are definitely the main selling point, the P30 Pro is a great phone in its own right. it offers an contrast-rich OLED display, amazingly long battery life, an attractive waterproof design, and plenty of power under the hood. The Kirin 980 works alongside 8GB of RAM on the Pro and 6GB of RAM on the regular P30, while gaming and graphics are taken care of by the Mali G76 GPU. One more thing: the P30 Pro is IP68 water protected, which translates into an ability to survive drops in water of up to 6 feet deep for as long as 30 minutes. Or for my purposes: to take it with me in the shower and blast Spotify at full volume without worrying that a few drops of water might damage the phone. The small P30 version will only withstand the occasional splash, but it does not have explicit water resistance. On the right side of the phone are the power and volume keys, which fall nicely under thumb or finger, although volume up can be a little bit of a stretch. Huawei has gone from strength to strength in recent years, and the P30 Pro is its most accomplished smartphone to date. Huawei P30 Pro price and availabilitySony’s WH1000XM2 headphones are excellent performers as well. Sure, not a great or memorable model name, but these still have some excellent sound reproduction that you can’t go wrong with. Sony really nails the perfect formula for mids, treble, and bass. Maximum size for each attachment is 10MB (rar,jpg,zip,pdf,war,txt,docx,doc,png,mp3,mp4,xls,xlsx,gif,jpeg are supported).

Finally, the Huawei P30 Pro comes with an IP68 rating, meaning it’s dust- and water-resistant, and able to withstand being submerged for up to 30 minutes in fresh water. Display The Huawei P30 Pro takes nanoSD cards – this is a new expandable memory format, pioneered by Huawei, which uses cards that are smaller than microSD cards. The cards aren’t readily available, and they are pricey, but Huawei hopes the new format will catch on in the coming years.During the day, the P30 Pro shoots photos that look okay, but whether it was because of the new sensor or something else, there is a very noticeable yellow tint to photos and the colors overall don't look as lively and animated as you see on other phones. You get plenty of detail, but as evidenced in our blind camera test, the overall look from the photos during the day is not something that resonates well with most people, at least when compared to the very best smartphone cameras out there. Measuring 6.47in across the diagonal, the P30 Pro’s screen is slightly larger than the 6.1in display of the regular P30. Its specifications remain the same, as the P30 Pro uses an AMOLED panel yet again and the resolution is 2,340 x 1,080. You might think this is a bit of a downgrade on the 1,440p display offered by the Mate 20 Pro, but this lower-resolution screen has the added benefit of prolonged battery life, which I’ll discuss in further detail later on. The P30 Pro also has the fastest in-screen fingerprint scanner we have ever used (which is still not as fast or as reliable as a traditional fingerprint reader) and the fastest charging on a mainstream phone. But what does this new ToF sensor actually add to the P30 Pro’s camera capabilities? Well, you won’t see many benefits with still photography or even video footage right now, although, in theory, it should enable more precisely cut out portrait images. What Huawei aims to do with it is to improve the phone’s AR (augmented reality) measurement features, meaning you should be able to measure distances, volumes and area to an increased 98% accuracy.

The same can’t be said about Huawei’s fiddly camera app. It’s overly complex and can be an incredibly convoluted and confusing experience, even for veteran photographers. If you want to access the wide-angle and zoom shooting modes, for instance, you have to switch from the phone’s maximum 40-megapixel shooting resolution to 10-megapixels and tediously cycle through each mode. There’s nothing in the camera software that tells you this beforehand. Huawei P30 Pro review: Verdict Huawei appears to be aware of this, sort of, as in some markets it provides a translucent silicone case in the box with the phone, providing some much-needed grip and light protection while not spoiling the design. However, those in the UK won't get this in the box. The primary snapper is an optically-stabilised 40-megapixel unit with a wide aperture of f/1.6. What’s particularly special here is that, rather than using an RGB Bayer filter on top of the sensor to capture in full colour, this camera employs the less commonly used RYB filter, replacing the green elements of the filter with yellow. The P30 Pro is a large but very good-looking phone, weighing 192 g and measuring 158.01 mm xx 73.37 mm x 8.41 mm. Crafted from glass and aluminium it supports wireless charging and is rated IP68 dust and waterproof. The 6.47-inch curved edge OLED display with HDR 10 support is contrast-rich, colourful and bright, though testers note that the FHD+ resolution is below that offered by other top brands. Powerful Performance Odd features aside, the Huawei P30 Pro is the firm’s most attractive, well-designed smartphone to date. I even think it looks better than the recently launched Galaxy S10 Plus, which takes some doing.

Battery

The 6.47-inch AMOLED screen on the Huawei P30 Pro has a Full HD+ resolution (1080x2340 pixels), making it not the most pixel-dense around, but definitely sharp enough so that you see no actual pixelization in daily use. A Quad HD screen would have also put a higher load on the battery, so we don’t really mind. The overall aesthetic is one of premium styling, and as well as looking good it feels classy in the hand. Speakers, Noise Suppression, aptX Support, Dolby Atmos, aptX-HD Support, Hi-Res Wireless Audio (HWA), LDAC With the tiny teardrop notch on the P30 Pro, you also do not get the secure 3D face recognition that Huawei had on the Mate 20 Pro. And that’s a shame! Face recognition on the Mate 20 Pro worked very well in different conditions, while the P30 Pro fingerprint scanner is not quite as reliable and effortless. Huawei explains that all of this is because of its focus on making the phone as compact as possible, with as tiny a notch as possible, so that’s the price you pay for the compact size. This screen is also slightly better than the one on the Mate 20 Pro. The Mate had a very slight greenish cast, while this one here has more balanced colors and just looks nicer.

It produces bright, clear and colorful imagery and text, which makes for an enjoyable viewing experience, although it isn’t the best display on the market. The phone’s overall battery life has seen a rather significant improvement. Our in-house video rundown test shows that the P30 Pro’s stamina is roughly 39% longer than its predecessor, reaching a staggering total of 21hrs 22mins before its 4,300mAh capacity battery was depleted. You shouldn’t have too many problems trying to squeeze out almost two day’s use on a single charge. Running on a Hi Silicon 980 octa core processor paired with 8 GB RAM, the Pro is extremely powerful, handling the most intense tasks with ease. These include video and photo editing, multi-tab browsing and hard-core gaming at highest settings. Apple and Samsung flagships beat it out in the benchmarks, but you're unlikely to notice any difference in day-to-day use. Android 9.0 is preinstalled along with EMUI 9.1. If you've never used Huawei's interface before, you're in for a few big surprises. It's quite a heavy skin, and some core Android features, including the app drawer, have been eliminated. Battery Life There option called Sound/Ringing and you have to drag that DOT to 10 (full) position. then you can hear sound.. or there is a switch to change the status.
