I have tried *many* things, including putting the B535 into bridge mode and (separately) trying an APN profile that specifies IPv4 only. One of the joys of 4G routers is that they’re usually incredibly easy to set up, as is the case with the Huawei B535 / Huawei HomeFi Plus. All our B535s are unlocked, so you can use the network with the best signal at the location the router will be installed. Longer answer: I thought it did, but I am beginning to have doubts, and a quick google reveals surprisingly little.

While Huawei makes every effort at the time of publication to ensure the accuracy of product information it provides, it may be necessary for Huawei to make subsequent changes and adjustments to text and images so that they match the performance, specifications, indexes, and components of the actual product. Important note: if using this router with an external antenna, be sure to enable to external antenna ports in the router's system settings.

The dual-core Balong chipset ensures you achieve incredible download speeds of up to 300 Mbps and upload speeds of up to 100 Mbps, so you and your entire family can enjoy the internet without needing a physical broadband connection. Plenty of traffic -- such as requests to DNS servers -- goes outbound from the USG to the B535 but, apart from ping responses, absolutely nothing comes back. I’m pretty sure that if I could get the v4 connection to work (which I can’t, so far), in either mode, it would solve the problem.

While 5G is obviously faster, this is arguably the best 4G home broadband option available from a major network. Installing a router in a location with a poor quality signal will result in poor quality internet connection and speeds, or no connect at all. The inability of the B535 to connect in IPv4-only mode (I thought some people had managed that, incidentally?
