Description

Brady meets Jane, and is instantly attracted to her inner sex kitten and innocence, however the last thing she wants is to get thrown into another relationship with this publicly known man-whore. Especially not after she got her heart broken so horribly. Brady makes it a mission to win Jane over and make her see him like he truly is, not how the media views him. It is not that easy, though. Spring training, ex’s, wedding plans, old friends from college, gossip magazines and the paparazzi appear to keep getting in the way of his goal to earn her heart. Royally Not Ready is a Princess Diaries type romance between a girl who would be princess and the Royal secretary charged with preparing her to take the crown. Narrated by Emma Wilder and John Hartley in duet, this story felt fully immersive with both narrators performing a variety of male and female characters. My biggest issue with the narration was that Emma Wilder only voiced female characters and I love listening to her man voice so much! But John Hartley's narration of Keller was deep and sensual and made up for it. Lilly’s personality and actions are exactly what you wouldn’t expect from a royal. She is witty, sarcastic and has a habit of talking first and thinking second. When she is approached by Keller, and he advises her that she needs to come with him to Torskethorpe to assume the throne. Ever since her parents passed away, she has been feeling alone so she agrees to the trip just so she can meet the family she never knew she had.

I keep telling myself, it’ll all work out. We just need to make it to the wedding day. Except, when the day finally comes, everything falls apart. The Looooong and the Short of It with a Giveaway: October 2023 Wrap-Up Post and What to Expect in November I can’t put into words how much I love this book. Ever since we were first introduced to Lilly and Keller in Royally Not Ready, I have be addicted to their romance. As always, MQ pulls 𝗡𝗢 punches when it comes to the spice in this book - needless to say I got a little hot and bothered. There's just something about how commanding and alphahole Keller is that I just can't shy away from. He has the 𝗕𝗜𝗚𝗚𝗘𝗦𝗧 dirty mouth I think I've ever read 🥵 Royally in Trouble continues to follow Lilly and Keller as they navigate their personal and professional relationship and go through hardships to get to know one another and themselves.

In future, I do request that you advise me of any potential plot points that may invoke similar feelings, so that I may preemptively book therapeutic appointments post-read. The tears, horniness and the way in which you hit a little too close to home could have been dealt with sooner if I’d had fair warning. Some of the actions of the hero might put some readers off towards the end (it didn’t bother me as I was expected that 3rd act conflict but it was realistic) and it didn’t deter my true love of this romance. Of course, I didn’t follow him. I might be up for a good time, but I’m also educated enough to know leaving with a stranger isn’t smart. Well, that’s until he mentioned my mom’s name. My mom who passed away several years ago.

So I'm off to get my hands on Royally In Trouble, which I'm hoping is just as amazing (if not more than) this was! She has a fast attraction to the man sent to find her, Keller. Keller is determined to keep his distance from the outrageous American due to the difference in their stations and tries to put space between them despite their forced proximity as he trains her in the art of royalty. Book Genre: Adult, Adult Fiction, BDSM, Contemporary, Contemporary Romance, Erotica, Family, Humor, New Adult, Romance Royally Not Ready turned into a friends to lovers romance and I enjoyed watching Lilly and Keller both grow and change into their new roles. It was entertaining and fun, emotional at times and all around a nice read. A royal wedding. Two soulmates struggling with the pressure of expectations. Conspiracies and dangerous secrets. And one absolutely brilliant romance by Meghan Quinn..again. Royally In Trouble was witty and spicy and heartbreaking and overall, perfection. Keller and Lilly managed to capture my heart all over again. I just devoured this epic story in one sitting.

Holy hell, I was not expecting things to get so steamy in this book but Meghan Quinn BROUGHT THE HEAT and honestly, I’m not mad about it. 🤷🏻‍♀️ In this modern and spicy fairy tale of a romance by Meghan Quinn, Keller Fitzwilliam is entrusted by the King of Torskethorpe in finding the King’s American granddaughter and training her to be the next sovereign. Keller works for the royal family but he's more like family than your average employee. It's his task to take Lilly and train her in all the things she needs to know. This is not an easy feat. Keller is a grumpy guy at first, but Lilly softens him up with time. stars equals “Meh.” I will not read this book again, it had a lot of problems and I did not care for it. There is no way to explain, This burning, merciless feeling, Biting through my bones. It eclipses my thoughts, It burrows into my veins, A cataclysmic force so strong, I can’t breathe. I need you. I broke us. It’s broken”
