Anyway, the keyboard itself looks and works great and the non-aluminum frame is sturdier than I thought it would be (saved 10 bucks there). I'm using it via Bluetooth with my Surface Pro (Windows), it was seamless to connect and I've had no issues with connectivity since. Overall, this is a lovely and compact keyboard, and those minor niggles don't budge it from five stars. Package included all the keys I needed to convert it from a mac layout to a pc one as well as a good quality key puller. Keychron K2 is a super tactile mechanical keyboard featuring the largest battery seen in a mechanical keyboard yet.

If you want a more compact model, check out the 70%-sized Keychron K14 or the 60%-sized Keychron K12. The hot-swappable sockets are mounted on the PCB, so you can hot-swap every switch on the K2 Pro with almost all of the 3pin and 5pin MX style mechanical switches on the market (including Cherry, Gateron, Kailh, Panda, etc.

Connect the keyboard wirelessly with up to 3 devices at once and switch between the screens via fn + 1/2/3 (not f1). you can connect the K2 V2 with three devices simultaneously, and switching between them is a piece of cake; all you need to do is press fn+1/2/3. You can easily customize the V2's knob to your desired key or macro commands such as: zooming in/out, adjusting screen brightness, brush size, volume, selecting video clips or photos, or backlight hue.

K2 is a super tactile wireless or wired keyboard giving you all the keys and function you need while keeping it compact, with the largest battery, the K2 Non-Backlit Version can last up to 2 months. It's well-built with a solid aluminum frame and has two incline settings, but it doesn't come with a wrist rest. It has only taken a few days for me to become thoroughly used to the different feel of this keyboard: the apple magic keyboard (as you will have gathered) just wasn't to my taste. The Razer is a better choice for gaming thanks to its incredibly low latency, macro-programmable keys, and customization software. If you're planning on using it for gaming, though, the Vortex is better because it has lower latency and macro-programmable keys. The polling rate is 1000 Hz right out of the box, which makes the latency hardly noticeable even in competitive games. The two of them come with Gateron Red, Blue, or Brown switches, but both have hot-swappable versions if you'd prefer using other switch types. You can find the USB Type C port used to connect it to your Mac or PC on the left side of the chassis. The tactile Gateron Brown switches on our K2 unit offer a better typing experience than the linear Gateron Low Profile Red switches on our K1 unit.
